Christmas Morning

We woke up Christmas morning to a ton of white. And pretty much it didn't stop for a long time. We got about 15 inches! Hooray for snowblowers!

This is just showing how much it was snowing that morning.

Matt's always good for a fantastic picture.

Apparently Matt forgot my gift. He unwrapped one of his (see above) and then took the wrapping paper with him to the basement. This present was the result. Go Matt. =)

Hooray for Christmas!!

I just love Christmas! I love unwrapping presents, watching others unwrap presents, singing Christmas songs (since August), making fudge, putting up the tree, ... But most of all I love having all of my family in town. We were missing a few (Evan, Rachel, Nancy, we missed you all), but we still have the noisiest gathering on the block! I think Dad supplied most of the noise when he handed out gifts from him and Nancy. They were awesome!

Here's my sister Jenni sporting her new Nancy-made scarf while her husband Jerry takes over Seth's marshmallow launcher from Dad.
Dad worked away in his shop and made wooden swords and shields for all the grandsons. They were a hit! Matt's totally jealous!

After the Great Scarf Affair, our house was full of scarf-wearing girls. I think everyone had at least one on. Some had two! Here's Missy and Bridgett with theirs.

Valerie is one of my favorite people to take pictures of. Why? Because she gets so into it! Here she is wearing two Nancy scarves, holding a Dad wooden tissue cover, and holding Eli's adorable pillow made by Nancy.

There's no way you could just lay out that many scarves with a room full of Clarks, so Dad Jon-rigged a rope to hang all of them on. Good stuff!

Singing on Temple Square

Recently I got a chance to sing on Temple Square with the group I'm in, "Voices." We ended our Christmas singing season at the Visitor Center on the 23rd and it was a blast. Most of my family came to hear me sing. Aren't families great?! On the way home, we stopped to snap a couple pictures of the temple and the lights.

This is our group. I'm the one with the microphone in my face. (Matt's still getting used to being the photographer...)
